High Falls

Town of High Falls

High Falls is a small hamlet with a strong community spirit and plenty of history. The D&H Canal was a formative influence; you can time-travel back in time along the D&H Canal Historical Society’s Five Locks Walk. The D & H is creating a new home for its museum at the Dupuy Canal House. Well known residents of High Falls who are part of its history are: artist Marc Chagall, visionary Father Divine, Natalie Wood, and Romeo Muller, the television writer who crafted Rudolph the “Red-Nosed Reindeer” and “Frosty the Snowman.” Present-day High Falls is a great place to be when you’re hungry as great restaurants are in abundance.
